Apofisitis de la Rodilla (Osgood Schlatter, Sinding Larsen Johansson)
Resumen
Las apofisitis por tracción son lesiones por sobre uso que se presentan exclusivamente en el paciente pediátrico como resultante del micro trauma repetitivo generado por la tracción de los tendones a nivel de las apófisis, principalmente durante la fase rápida de crecimiento en pacientes que practican actividades deportivas, ya que durante este periodo el crecimiento óseo y muscular no son armónicos, los tendones relativamente cortos generan mayor fuerza de tracción sobre las apófisis creando cargas submaximas de tracción repetida causante de inflamación y lesión de las apófisis.; las apofisitis por tracción en la rodilla son Osgood Schlatter y Sinding Larsen Johansson
